Actuator
ACT03 is a high-thrust servo actuator for web guiding systems, designed for heavier correction structures, larger guiding frames and higher correction-force requirements. It is used as the final execution mechanism to move the correction frame according to controller commands.

Replacement & Spare Part
ACT03 is a Pausource actuator and runs only with the PC100A controller. It does not work with EURDOW controllers such as the WGC01 or WFC01. If your machine has a PC100A and a heavy correction frame, this is the unit to compare against.

The actuator. Mounting hardware can be supplied if the existing brackets are damaged.
Like the ACT01, the ACT03 uses electronic limits and runs a stroke self-learning routine on the PC100A after installation, so its ±100 mm stroke does not have to match the mechanical travel of the frame. Installation space is the real constraint.
Dimension drawing: available on request. Ask for it by email and check it against the unit on your machine before ordering.
Both run on the PC100A. The ACT03 is only needed when the correction load is beyond what an ACT01 can move reliably — wide or heavy frames, high web tension, or slides with high friction.

If an ACT01 on your machine keeps stalling or moving slowly under load, an ACT03 may be the answer — but check the slides for binding first, because a frame that has become stiff will defeat any actuator.
Not every fault that looks like a failed actuator is one. These are the patterns we are asked about most often, and what they usually turn out to mean.
Check the frame slides and bearings for binding before blaming the actuator. A heavy frame with high friction can exceed even 8000 N.
Usually the incoming lateral error is larger than the correction range, which points at the roll or upstream alignment rather than the actuator.
Points at the drive stage or a seized screw. Try moving it under manual command with the frame unloaded.
The new actuator has not learned the frame yet. Run the stroke self-learning on the PC100A before going back to automatic.
If the symptom is not on this list, describe it in your message. It is cheaper for both of us to identify the actual fault than to ship the wrong part.
Selection Notes
Larger correction frames, heavier loads, higher friction structures and demanding web guiding applications.
For standard correction loads or compact guiding frames, the ACT01 on the same PC100A controller may be more suitable and cost-effective.
Runs only with the Pausource PC100A controller, together with an ES100 / ES201 or CCD sensor and a correction frame selected for web width, load, stroke and installation space.
High-thrust correction drive for larger or heavier guiding frame structures.
Servo correction support for wider web materials and demanding machine layouts.
Suitable for applications where standard actuator capacity may not be sufficient.
Correction drive for web guiding sections in film, foil, packaging and nonwoven equipment.
Touchscreen web guiding controller for closed-loop edge, center and line guiding.
