If you have a WGC02 on a machine and need another one, the short answer is that it is no longer produced. The WGC01 replaces it, on the same 24 V supply, the same dual analog sensor input, the same six-channel I/O and the same RS485 Modbus-RTU — with a faster response and more drive power.
This page keeps the original WGC02 specifications so you can confirm what is on your machine, and sets the two controllers side by side so you can see exactly what changes.

One thing to check before you order. The electrical interfaces match, so the sensors, actuator and wiring normally stay where they are. The enclosures are not identical, so the panel cut-out may need adjusting. Send us a photo of the installed unit and the panel opening and we will confirm before anything ships.

Most WGC02 units we are asked to replace are genuinely at end of life, but it is worth ten minutes to be sure.

The WGC02 reports a code rather than a plain fault. Send us the code and what the machine was doing — several of them point at the sensor or the actuator, not the controller.
Usually gain or sensor mounting rather than hardware. Check the sensor sees a clean edge and is square to the web, check the actuator for backlash, then reduce gain.
If it moves in manual but not in automatic, the problem is on the sensor side. If it does not move at all, check the actuator connector before the controller.
Sensor channel or actuator direction reversed, normally after a sensor swap or a rewire. A parameter setting, not damage.
Then the WGC01 goes in. Same wiring, faster response, more drive power. Ask us for the panel dimensions first.
