Replacing an EDS-02 on an existing machine?
EDS-02 is specified for 24 V supply, a 7 mm detection range and a 40 mm opening. These details need to match the sensor fitted to your machine.
What to send us
Send photos of the sensor model marking, cable connection, mounting bracket and web path, plus the controller model, material and quantity required. A photo of the wiring terminals helps us confirm the connection.
What ships
The quoted EDS-02 sensor. Tell us whether you also need a cable or mounting bracket so these can be confirmed separately in the quotation.
Compare the 24 V supply, 7 mm detection range, 40 mm opening, connection and mounting dimensions with the installed sensor. A similar ultrasonic sensor name alone does not confirm a direct replacement.

Commonly reported EDS-02 symptoms
Guiding is unstable on perforated or mesh material
Ultrasonic sensing needs a closed web; holes let the signal through. This is a material limitation, not a sensor fault.
The reading jumps when the web flutters
The detection range is 7 mm. If the edge moves up and down inside the 40 mm opening, add support near the sensor before replacing it.
No signal at all
Check the 24 V supply and the cable first; cable damage where it flexes is more common than a failed sensor.
