Replacement & Spare Part
Replacing a load cell from another manufacturer? If the rated load, shaft diameter and mounting dimensions match, one of these can replace it. Send the old sensor’s label and mounting dimensions and we will check the fit.
Availability is confirmed with the quotation.
Check whether the shaft is 17 mm or 25 mm: the sensor body dimensions change with the shaft size. Confirm the rated load and the required output: 0–5 V, 0–10 V or 4–20 mA. Compare the mounting dimensions with the model table above.
Send a photo of the sensor label, a photo showing how it is mounted, and the model of the connected controller or signal amplifier. Include the old sensor’s mounting dimensions so we can check the fit.
Use these checks to review the sensor installation and measurement setup.
Confirm that both sensors in the pair are connected and summed. One sensor measures only the share of roller load it carries.
Check the wrap angle over the measuring roller. A web path that moves with roll diameter changes the measured force even without a real tension change. Use fixed idlers on both sides of the measuring roller.
Inspect the cable and connector, then check whether a web break or hard stop overloaded the sensor. Compare the roller load during the event with the listed 500% maximum overload.
Choose LS100A when a through-shaft tension sensor is required for online web tension monitoring in demanding converting environments.
| Good Fit | Through-shaft roller installations, harsh production environments, IP66 protection requirements and stable online tension feedback. |
